Terms & Conditions *

A non-refundable booking fee of £300.00 is payable within one week after initial booking. The balance is due six weeks before the wedding date. We allow 14 days ‘cooling off’ period, after which booking fee is deemed accepted and client is unable to cancel and be refunded the fee. If for any reason the client does cancel the booking, a percentage of the final balance will be due: 50% due within 6-4 months before, 100% due within 3-1 months before the wedding. In the event of the wedding being postponed more than 12 months from the original wedding date, and client agreeing to Chris Kelly Films still covering the booking, the client is to pay an additional £200 booking fee for the new date, to align with current prices. The remainder of the balance will be due 6 weeks before the new agreed date. If the client chooses to cancel at any point, the original date’s cancellation policy still applies (i.e. 100% of the balance is due 3 months before original date until new agreed date). In the event that more than one client wishes to book wedding services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the deposit. Rescheduled weddings can be accommodated even if the new date clashes with another booking and the client accepts a substitute videographer for ‘on the day’ coverage. Chris Kelly Films will be the exclusive professional videographer. Friends and family are permitted to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage. It is the client’s responsibility to secure access to areas for videography. Chris Kelly Films will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions. If restrictions are given on the day, by any authority member of the church, celebrant or venue, Chris Kelly Films must adhere to them to avoid disruption of the ceremony or other key moments. If a meal is to be provided for the photographer, please also make this available for myself and inform ahead of time so there is a note of it. Chris Kelly Films will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics, drunken behaviour, etc. The use of an aerial drone by Chris Kelly Films is weather and location dependent. Use is restricted by documented safety guidelines, inclement weather and adhering to no fly zones without exception. Chris Kelly Films reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid can be refunded in full, or a replacement sought to the best of our abilities for on the day coverage. Any liability on the part of Chris Kelly Films will be limited to the amount of monies paid. Upon taking possession of the finished product, the client must inform Chris Kelly Films of any technical or other problems with the video within 30 days. After 30 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product. All raw footage is deleted after one year’s storage, and we keep the DVD and USB files if you wish to purchase in the future. Copyright will be owned by Chris Kelly Films, however permission will be sought from the client(s) for use of their wedding footage of the day to promote Chris Kelly Films via social media, website or public event (e.g. wedding showcase/fair). The client can opt in/out in this contract or via written permission via email.
